The Background

The Role



The role of the Digital Design Engineer will be to provide digital design, including general-purpose logic, microprocessors or microcontrollers and associated memory arrays skills.



The role will involve worst-case timing analysis and also design to minimum complexity, mass volume and power. This position will also involve PCB layout and procurement and circuit integration and test, including formal test coverage analysis.





The Person



At least a working knowledge and preferably direct experience of software design and its interaction with hardware is required for this position. You should have the ability to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision, taking initial top-level design requirements and implementing an optional solution. You should have a systematic and rigorous approach to work, preferably using formal methods and have the ability to operate alone or in small teams and to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation
